Sinful Colors- Bright lights pink city

Hey guys! I have one of my new favorite polishes to share with you today.
" Bright lights pink city" by Sinful colors

3 coats with top coat

BLPC is a bright salmon (in person it has a pink undertone) jelly, it applies so easily and is not patchy or streaky like other jellies can be. Two coats would have been good enough for me, but I did three for Pictures.
It dries to a matte finish, but I think that's because of its has just a touch of neon to it. It is a unique color, I have nothing like it, and it easily earned a spot in my top five favorite orange polishes as my second favorite ( China glaze riveting will always be my #1) I think this is a LE for the "Mod mod world display" for spring 2014 so get it while you can,I might try to find a backup bottle!
thanks for reading!

Royal Beyhive : Jelly sandwich + stamping

Hello lovely loves!
Hope your day is going well.

Another short and sweet post today.

(Photos at the end of the post due to blogging on my phone)

For this mani I used:

China Glaze creative fantasy- bright grape jelly that dries to a almost satin finish

Orly watch it glitter - medium and small copper glitter in a clear base

For stamping I used:

Winstonia image plate w113 (honeycomb image)

Finger paints magnetic in cop an attitude- copper with a slightly shimmery metallic finish ( amazing for stamping)

How I did it:

Basecoat
Two coats of creative fantasy
One coat orly watch it glitter
One coat of creative fantasy
One coat of top coat to make sure its all smooth
Stamped
Top coat ;-)

Im a newbie stamper so this didn't turn out perfect theres still so many things I need to learn, but im in love with how this turned out.

I am loving these Winstonia plates, great for even newbies like me, ill have a full review for that later on.

As far as the polishes I used, creative fantasy is just gorgeous, it can be a lil patchy but so worth it

Orlys watch it glitter is great, no dabbing or moving around, what you see underneath is one coat

Finger paints cop an attitude is perfect for stamping,  I find that a lot of magnetics are.

Ok so semi short and sweet lol let me know what you think!

China Glaze : running in circles

Hey guys, todays post is short and sweet. Not sure if its going to work but lets try.
I have both pix and a video of china glaze "running in circles" from the cirque collection. I couldn't capture the full beauty of it in the picture , so I decided we needed a lil sparkle cam action.
I might do more of these if it works out, its very difficult to do this from my phone ( been at it for hours! Even with the help of my friend I still couldn't get it to work)

Running in circles is a gorgeous emerald green packed with light green and gold sparkles, and when I say packed I mean PACKED ! The shimmer gives it almost a duo chrome foiled look.

Im in love, I have a soft spot for greens and this has to be one of my favorite, if not my #1 favorite, this is 2 easy coats and top coat

Below is the video, its dark and gloomy out so I had to use the flash on my phone. As much as it sparkles It still does not do this color justice.

Go buy it now!

*running in circles was a gift from a very awesome fb friend, all opinions are my own

Influenster : Sweetheart voxbox

Hi!
So a tiny update, its been a while but only because I still do not have internet and the only thing I have with internet access is my phone , and honestly blogging sucks from your phone when you have to do a long post, so lets keep this short ;-)

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive a voxbox from influenster!
For those of you who don't know what this is I'll sum it up for you, every month people are chosen to receive a box full if goodies to review! There's diffrent themes, and a mix of full and sample size products. Everything is based on your influenster score. And the best part? Its free! All you have to do is review the products you get. That simple, I'll have a link at the end so you can read more.

The voxbox of February was called the sweetheart box, although to me this seems more like a summer voxbox and you'll see why.

I will be reviewing each product individually, so this is just a quick overview and just to explain a bit more about the program.

These are the item's I received:

Olay fresh effects {va-va-vivid!} Powered contour cleansing system ( full size, 12.99)

Olay fresh effects {shine, shine go away!} Shine minimizing cleanser ( I got a mini , 6.99 for a full size)

Secret clinical strength stress response ( I think I got a full size, 7.99-9.99)

Skinny girl daily on-the-go bars ( one bar, a box of 5 is 9.99)

And the last item
Not your mother's beach babe texturizing sea salt spray ( I got a mini, full size is 6.00)

Can you see why I think its more summer then sweetheart?
These are not the type of things i would use while it's basically still winter here in Chicago lol

I am pleased with what I got,  it takes about a week or two to get your box after to take the survey (if you qualify) and the whole process seems really easy to me. I love it ♥

Individual reviews should be up within the next few days :)

today i have a continuation of yesterdays post. i have more pictures of the "what kind of party?" collection which releases today. ill have more info on that at the bottom. now lets get to the pictures. i apologize for my hands appearing so red , theres a problem with the heat and its really cold in my apt LOL

first we have shindig, i chose to layer it over a navy blue ( orly: shockwave)

next we have gathering i chose to layer this over a deep eggplant shade ( wnw : disturibia )

and the last shade in this collection ( my personal favorite ) hootenanny. heres two coats no undies :)

and thats it! im keeping short and sweet this time you can check my previous post for a full review and description of the colors . im sorry for any messyness i ran out of polish remover lol also if you see any bald spots in the base colors, that was all me , rookie mistake of not letting my first coat of base color after applying the second coat of base color.

im in love with these polishes and as i said before i had no problems with application with any of these .

Maya cosmetics: What kind of party?

today i have some swatches and a quick review of maya cosmetics new holiday collection called "wheres the party?" . there are three polishes in this collection , two glitter top coats and a insanely gorgeous glitterbomb.
now let me tell you , i am a sucker for a good glitter and these do not disappoint. smooth and easy application, great glitter payoff from the toppers and amazing coverage from the glitterbomb. another thing i love about these are how versatile they are , they can be worn all year and both glitter top coats can be worn over almost (if not ) every color you can think of . i have a few pictures to share with you , these are all on a swatch wheel , sadly if got gloomy quick and i am not happy with how those pictures turned out, i wouldnt want to show you something like that and take away from the polishes. however, i will redo the swatches on my nails and have those pictures up tomorrow... on to the pictures ;)

lerft to right:Shindig, hootenanny and gathering

first up we have shindig, a glitter top coat. here you can find pearl white and gold squares, gold micro bars and a beautiful subtle gold shimmer in a clear base , here i applied 1 coat no top coat. absolutely no issues here no need to dig around or place glitters , as you can see it goes well with a wide variety of colors
shingdig over red, brown, turquoise and metallic red

shingding over green, berry and deep purple

shindig

next up is Hootenanny ( how fun is that name lol ) this is the glitter bomb of the pack and my personal favorite. here we have a mix of silver and gunmetal which make up most of the base then a bunch of different size and colored glitter with a bit of holographic shimmer to make it all super fun and extra sparkly. again , no issues with application , opaque in 2 coats but you can layer 1 coat over darker colors like i've done here. this one drys a little gritty and dull so you will need at least 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out but thats common with these kind of polishes ;)
hootenanny over a metallic blue and over black , no topcoat

last but not least we have gathering, an iridescent top coat with aqua  micro flakies! this is one of those polishes that just transform when layered over darker colors, but i love the way they look over light colors also , its just a nice surprise when it catches the light , i apologize in advance for not having better pictures

gathering over a grey creme

these will be available starting November 15 , you can get all 3 polishes for $20.00 {plus shipping) from nove 15 -25 after that they are 8$ each

Maya cosmetics: "it can't rain all the time"

Good morning! hope everyone is having a great day so far. today i have swatches of Maya cosmetics "it can't rain all the time". i love this polish , how would i describe it? a milky light periwinkle base with a beautiful combo of  glitters scattered throughout, minty green metallic hexes , gunmetal square and hex glitters and a fine lilac glitter. i also spot a shimmery lilac flash when it catches the light just right.
that was way harder than i thought LOL  , its a very "spring color" ( if you're into that kind of thing) very girly and delicate. all the pictures below are 3 coats and topcoat , no problems with application or glitters ..... this might be a little pic heavy , i was trying to capture the lilac shift which was impossible since my camera
 HATES glitter.

indoor light

partial sun ( still gloomy here ;(....)

yummy close up

blurry "just cuz im obsessed with glitter" shot

i thought i had finally captured the shift but it dissapeared once i uploaded it ;(
